Building an inclusive environment starts with understanding how people learn, communicate, and process information differently. Persons with Learning Disabilities equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to communicate more effectively with learners and customers with learning disabilities.
The programme introduces common learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dyspraxia, helping participants understand what they are and how they may affect individuals in everyday situations.
Through discussions, case studies, and practical workplace scenarios, participants will explore the everyday challenges that learning disabilities can create. The programme encourages participants to recognise individual needs and avoid assumptions when communicating or providing support.
Participants will also learn simple strategies for providing clearer communication, instructions, and information. Real-world case studies and discussions will help participants develop greater confidence in adapting their approach to create more supportive and inclusive interactions.
Designed for professionals across various sectors, this workshop blends engaging discussions, experiential learning, and real-world applications to help organisations communicate more effectively and create inclusive experiences for individuals with learning disabilities.
