Malaysia is a diverse and multicultural society, where people from different ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds interact every day. Building cultural awareness is essential to creating respectful workplace relationships and delivering positive experiences to every customer and colleague.
Cultural Sensitivity in Malaysia focuses on developing participants’ awareness and understanding of Malaysia’s diverse cultural landscape. Participants will explore the major ethnic, religious, and cultural communities in Malaysia, as well as everyday norms, greetings, etiquette, and social practices across different cultures.
Through discussions, practical activities, case studies, and real-world scenarios, participants will learn to recognise unconscious bias, avoid stereotypes, and understand how cultural differences can influence communication and workplace interactions.
